The ABC+ factory never produces more than 999 cans of any ABC+ series per day. This makes every can very special. It also means they can source much smaller quantities of seafood and fish and do not have to develop concepts based on volumes alone.
Instead, the fish are selected based on what is fresh, in season, and above all, inspiring. This, combined with sauces that are handmade each season, means that no two batches (or even cans) are completely identical. Rather than trying in vain to enforce uniformity, they embrace this unique experience, knowing that each can will be delicious in its own way. Therefore, their products are more akin to single-malt Scotch than blended whisky.
All of this positions ABC+ to conquer the culinary world.
Completely unique, inside and out
At first glance, the large-format round cans—in a new, iconic square packaging—immediately distinguish themselves from other brands.
What you notice first is a beautifully designed letter positioned front and center on the matte paper box. The name “ABC+” represents both their alphabet-inspired approach and the rich variety of fish species they present in their cans.
The letters represent the fish species (in Portuguese) in each can. B for Bacalhau (cod) and “T” for Truta (trout). A colored dot represents the sauce accompanying that can, such as Pink for capers or Yellow for Curry. These symbols and colors together form a unique visual language between product and customer.
Some recipes will deliberately be available only once. Others will be seasonal, and some will later be included in the Jose Gourmet catalog.
