MESTRE SAÚL
1 YEAR OF AGING: WORTH THE WAIT!
Mestre Saúl is made with the finest bonito fillets from the Azorean sea. Handcrafted using ancestral techniques, it is only after at least 1 year of aging in the tin that it can finally be enjoyed in all its glory. Now with even more tender fibers and an even softer, delicate flavor, lightly salted. A true delicacy for the connoisseur who knows how to wait!
MESTRE SAÚL
If Santa Catarina fillets maintain their tender texture and soft, lightly salted flavor to this day, it is all thanks to the master canner Saúl Casimiro. Born in 1918, he brought his expertise in the art of canning to the island of São Jorge in 1955. A simple, artisanal method passed down through generations to deliver the taste of the Azorean sea in a tin to your table.
