La Mar de Tazones was established in late 2022 in the port of El Musel (Gijón).

This is the gourmet canned seafood line from parent company Cetárea Tazones, a second-generation family business with more than 35 years of experience.

Founded to honor the tradition of canning, but with the ambition to be unique and offer a distinctive product, combining innovation and craftsmanship.

They are committed to the circular economy and strive to reduce their environmental impact by ensuring traceability, optimizing resources, and utilizing every part of the seafood.

They are inspired by the traditions of Asturias and aim to preserve the culinary heritage of this region. But they also want to be creative: their preserves have their own unique character, resulting from a constant pursuit of excellence.

Each of their preserves is the result of a meticulous process. It all begins with the use of traditional traps as a fishing method, respecting the marine ecosystem. They clean all their shellfish by hand to ensure that flavor and freshness remain intact. For Mar de Tazones, every tin is a work of art, a jewel that carries years of know-how and a deep respect for the sea.
