AGROMAR<\/strong><\/p>\n

Agromar, with more than 50 years of experience, continues to offer the best quality preserves. The history of the company goes back to 1948, when Armando Barrio Mata from Gij\u00f3n had the original idea of canning sea urchin roe, which was extremely abundant at the time on the rocks and beaches of Asturias.
\nThe unique product was initially intended for consumption by the family and as a gift, but commercial opportunities soon emerged that Armando could see and develop.
\nIn those years there were many small canneries scattered along the Cantabrian coast, such as the factory his father ran in 1920. Armando produced and sold salted fish himself, perhaps the most artisanal of all preserved products.
\nIt was he who finally registered the brand name in 1968 and, 21 years later, gave rise to what we know today as CONSERVAS AGROMAR, a young and innovative company.<\/p>\n

New times, new ideas and new needs have driven Agromar\u2019s constant growth in recent years, in sales as well as in product range and production capacity, taking on new challenges and approaching the highly competitive international markets with enthusiasm.
\nThe success of Agromar products and their clear positioning in the “gourmet” segment have led to their preserves now being found in the most select restaurants and delicatessens in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico, the USA and Hong Kong, which is undoubtedly the best reward for many years of work and an incentive to keep working with dedication and care.<\/p>\n

Sea urchin caviar<\/strong><\/p>\n

An authentic and distinctive Agromar product: this sea urchin caviar is made from the roe of the sea urchin (Paracentrotus lividus), gathered from cliffs, rocks and the seabed of the Cantabrian coast.<\/p>\n

Sea urchins are a high-quality product for the restaurant trade and require very careful selection.<\/p>\n

The roe is removed by hand with great care and packed just as it comes in the can.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the fully traditional preparation method, we can enjoy a touch of the sea that is as wild, pristine and rugged as our coasts.<\/p>\n
