\nBy building our own cannery (the smallest in Portugal), we are no longer bound by the constraints associated with co-packing via a larger producer. Gone are the days of minimum order quantities. Gone are the days of compromise. Instead, our state-of-the-art facility \u2013 more laboratory than factory \u2013 offers an R&D capacity that is simply unmatched in the industry.
\nOur facility produces no more than 999 cans of each ABC+ series every day. This makes every can truly special. It also means we can source much smaller quantities of fish and do not have to develop concepts based solely on volume.
\nOur fish are selected based on what is fresh, in season, and above all, inspiring. This, combined with sauces that are handmade seasonally, means that no two batches (or even two cans) are completely identical. Instead of trying in vain to enforce uniformity for the sake of repetition, we embrace this uniqueness of experience, knowing that each can will be delicious in its own distinctive way. This makes our products more like single malt Scotch than blended whisky.

Fish<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mackerel is a predominant fish in the Atlantic Ocean; it is a tender and highly versatile fish with a very pleasant flavor.<\/p>\n

Nutritional value<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mackerel is a very rich fish from a nutritional perspective and should be consumed regularly. Its omega-3 fatty acid content is remarkable, contributing to the health and proper functioning of the circulatory system and helping to prevent neurological disorders. The protein content is very high, and it is rich in various micronutrients such as vitamins A, B6, and B12, and minerals such as phosphorus, potassium, and calcium. <\/p>\n

Sauce<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aglio e olio sauce is a simple and creamy sauce where the fresh flavors of garlic and parsley are clearly prominent. In our opinion, it is a light sauce that pairs well with summery and lighter meals. The two aromatic herbs complement each other and never mask the flavor of the fish. <\/p>\n

Production method<\/strong><\/p>\n

The mackerel is entirely processed in our facilities; the head and entrails are removed, and the fish is then steamed. After cooking, the mackerel is prepared by hand (skin and bones removed) by staff who, following this process, place the fillets into the can with maximum care. The sauce is then added by hand to each of the cans.
